Moses 1:18

When Satan came tempting Moses calling him son of man and desiring that Moses worship him. Moses declared with boldness, “Get thee hence. I am a son of God. God gave me a commandment to call upon Him in the name of Christ, and I will not cease to call upon God.” His conviction came from having experienced being in God’s presence and knowing that he was a son of God, and that God had a work for him to do. As we pray daily, we will not experience speaking with God face to face as Moses did, but we can experience being in God’s presence by feeling of His spirit, guidance, and love for us. As we earnestly pray, read and ponder about prayer, and desire to know God’s plan for us, we can achieve this same conviction. We each can know that we are daughters of a Heavenly Father who loves us, and that He has a work for us. And when Satan tries to tempt us to believe that our prayers do not matter to Heavenly Father, each of us can declare with boldness, “Get thee hence. Deceive me not. I will not cease to call upon God.” Because of our willingness to call upon God, we will know how it feels to be in His presence, and we will know that our prayers will be heard and answered by our Father in Heaven because we are His daughters.
